I was desperately searching the net for some sort of clarification of what are the OGGi and I finally found them. not in a boring PDF but on your blog. Which is great it gave me a much more interesting read with your poetry and observation thrown in.
why have you titled them the “so-called” OGGI?
and do you know where I can find the boring PDF that gives the framework for applying the indicators.
i’m a student and i’m writing a thesis about frameworks for evaluating mega events.
please let me know if your may aware of other docs that i’d be interested in too
thanks in advance
shane
I listed them on my blog so I could link to them somewhere in the public domain from a project paper for my OU studies. I’m not really sure I’m even supposed to publish them, though I can’t see what harm it will do! Anyway, as for the more detailed stuff, such as the criteria associated with each indicator, evaluation, etc., it is not my place to publish these. I will however point our environment chaps at this entry and they may add a comment. As for ‘so-called’ I put that just because OGGI is not exactly a household term!
I should also point out that although I am interested in environment and am studying it to add some substance to my rather light weight understanding of the issues, I actually work in technology. Which is just to say I’m not the best person to answer detailed environmental questions!
Where are you from, BTW?
