My name is Christopher Payne. This is my weblog. It is just a place to keep random disorganised notes for family and friends about what I’m up to and what interests me. Perhaps one day it will remind me of lots of things I thought were important but aren’t really. The tag line for this site is ‘presque rien sur presque tout’ which was the name of a programme on Radio Suisse Romand that I listened to frequently, sadly no longer broadcast. It is also the name of a book by Jean d’Ormesson. Some people would put the book before the radio show, but I loved the radio show because “cela fait penser à la vie, à la curiosité d’une enfant”, which is about as worthy a mantra as I can imagine.
